This was my first time to use flash. It was quite difficult, in fact it took me about an hour and a half to get my exposure right. But this is my first book cover and I'm posting it as the lighting, not my six weeks project. What I did was I had a flash in a soft box umbrella on 1/4 power on the left side and then I held a reflector on the right side of her face to lighten up the right side but still have the shadows. It didn't think it was going to turn out as good as it did, especially since it was my first time with flash, but I am really pleased with how it turned out.
