My Last Swim Meet for the Year ://

Last Three

So, this was my last time to shoot swim this year. It was very sad! I loooove shooting swim and we've only had like 3 home meets. This time was definitely not my best time but I did get a few good shots. I really like the very top one because that huddle is something that the swimmers do before every meet. Woodsies got basically the same picture and they're using it in the yearbook as a divider, and this makes me happy cause swim doesn't get a whole lot of focus in the yearbook.

Day 5

ISO:400
Aperture:2.8
Shutter Speed: 1/100

So today it rained and I decided I wanted to do something with puddles. My original idea was to get a picture of me jumping in a puddle and have the splash and me laughing and it would be great. Well, turns out I look incredible awkward when I jump. Maybe someday I take an adorable picture of someone else in the rain, but as for a self portrait I'll just have to make due. Also, I hate that house in the background.

Day 4

ISO:1000
Aperture: f 2.8
Shutter Speed: 1/20

So Haley (the girl in the pajamas) and I have this joke that one day we're going to tie up Jared (the guy in the ropes) and keep him here instead of letting him go back to college. So this was the first thing that came to my head when I was trying to decide what to do for my self portrait. Also, that hand belongs to Haley's little sister who got inside the toy-box with out with our knowledge.

Day 3

So my best friend is leaving for college and Haley and the girl with the handcuffs and I don't want him to, so this picture goes along with Day 4. My goal for this project was to creatively display the events in my day and while Day 3 and 4 aren't y favorite I'm really hoping they will get better.

PS to Ruth: I'm sooooooooooooooooooo sorry, and I love you!

Day 2

Today I got home at 11:30 and still hadn't done a picture, so I was going to double up tomorrow, but Ruth had faith in me and told me that since I was getting ready to go to sleep do something relating to that, so I did. With seven minutes to spare! I'm hoping I'll get more creative with the content and the lighting as this project continues.

Day 1

ISO:800
Aperture: f 16
Shutter Speed: 1/6

Ruth and I saw this girl who did a 365 day self portrait project, but since Ruth and won't be together for 365 days (tear!) we decided to do 65 days, from today until sring break. Since the 1st I've been living out of a suitcase in my office, so for my self portrait I'm asleep on my suit case with my homework in front of me. I have a flash on the camera set at 1/128 power and my camera is sitting on a basket because I forgot a tripod.
