Apocolypse
This was a pretty fun assignment. They were basically writing a silly story about a zombie apocalypse and needed a picture of the school during an apocalypse. Since I had a butt ton of pictures of the school from trying to get the cover picture and I have a fairly good knowledge of Photoshop I volunteered to create this image. I had the whole class telling me things that I should add. My favorite is the cow (that was Claire's idea!). I basically just got images from the internet and cut out things and put it on here. It's supposed to look not real at all.

Room 50 Goes Green
I walked into Pot's room and she told me to go grab a camera and go to the Special Ed courtyard. So, I did. They were doing some environmentally friendly exercises, it was a pretty chill assignment EXCEPT the lighting was terrible!!! It was a bright sunny day and everything was under a huge tree so the shadows were suuuuper harsh and everywhere. But since I couldn't just pick up the tree and move it I just tried my hardest to position myself to where their faces were solid. I don't think they were to bad.

Deadline, Deadline, Deadline
ISO:100
Aperture:2.8
Shutter Speed: 1/1600
Today I was just focusing on getting assignments done for the deadline. This picture was for secondary coverage about students going to college all over the country. Riley was the last one missing so I took hers, but then I realized she had one of those hanger straps showing on her shoulder so I had to take that out, but it wasn't big so I could do it in lightroom. But that's about all I gots to say about this.

Mr. Littmann, Thuggin It
ISO:200
Aperture: 11
Shutter Speed: 1/200
I adore Mr. Littmann. I assigned my self to take this because he has his conference during 1st period. The picture is for secondary coverage about what certain teachers say all the time. Mr. Littmann's
quote is "And remember, be careful out there." I still haven't exactly mastered high key, but I knew he was going to be cut out so I just focused on lighting him well. He took direction very well and over all it was just a pretty basic assignment.

FINALLY!!
ISO: InDesign
Aperture: InDesign
Shutter Speed: Indesign
THE COVER IS FINISHED!! After about 50 hours of straight shooting and countless hours of processing and editing, it is done!!! We ended up only using two of the pictures and making them fade into one another. Even though I'm mildly irked that we didn't use the original timelapse idea, I think this looks 67,864,308,654,756,855,640,543,765,465,043 times better and I very happy with it.

Ugh!!
ISO:1600
Aperture:2.8
Shutter Speed:1/80
ISO:400
Aperture:2.8
Shutter Speed:1/8000
So, my great aunt asked me to take some pictures for her. It was during the break so I just had my camera and a 17-50mm, and it was a briiiight sunny day, and it was super dark in her house AND she has ALS so she's very limited to where she can go. All in all, it was not a photographers dream. The ones inside are dark and grainy and the ones outside everyone is squinting and the shadows are redonkulous. I could have used the window light inside to my advantage, but thats about all I could do given the situation.
